Which will take about a 1-hour drive from Fes. Volubilis or the roman ruins located in an amazing location among the vast fields of Olive trees. The beauty of the small mountains around it. There we will explore the site of Volubilis. Get some information about the history of Romans and their way of living in this area.

After the Roman Ruins visit, we will continue to the beautiful city of Meknes which is also called the city of olives and grips. Firstly visit Bab Mansour al Mansour Gate it’s one of the biggest gates in Morocco. Walk through the alleys of Medina: they all lead to the Great Mosque and the Nejjari of two buildings of great beauty. Visit the Palace Idrissi (El Mansour) this 19th century features a very interesting visit to the bazaar. You will visit the place of Lahdem, which houses the Ethnographic Museum Dar Jamai. Explore the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, which houses the tomb of the Sultan.

Sahrij Souani used for the storage of food reserves in the city. You can go on the roof and enjoy the beautiful gardens of Meknes.  After a long day of explorations for Meknes city and Volubilis, our Day Trip will end back at Fes in the evening.
