Itinerary :
Day 1: Valley of Flowers, Ait Ben Haddou, Skoura, Kasbah Amridil, Dades Valley, and Todra Gorges:
We will begin our desert trip from Ouarzazate to the Merzouga at the agreed-upon meeting point in Ouarzazate. The first stop will be to the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a 13th-century walled settlement designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
We drive through its little streets, we will notice its tremendous beauty. This location has been featured in films like Gladiator, Sahara, and The Kingdom of Heaven. We will continue our journey to the oasis of Skoura, where we will see the kasbah of Amridil, a kasbah in excellent condition where we will study the significance and usage of these structures.
The Thousand Kasbahs Route and the Valley of the Roses will lead us closer to the beautiful orography of the Dades Gorges. Dinner and lodging in the Todra Gorge at a hotel/riad.
Day 2: Todra gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga Desert:
On the second day of our desert trip from Ouarzazate to Merzouga, we arrived at Merzouga. After breakfast, the journey continues to Tinghir and the radically distinct Todra Gorges. Where you may take a brief stroll to see the sheer sides of the valley and the tiny span of the sky above.
From there, one may visit the Erg Chebbi dunes through Tinjdad. The Oasis of Tatilalet in Erfoud is famed for its Date Festival. Rissani, which is home to the Alaouite dynasty of Morocco’s current ruler. Rissani and Erfoud.
Between Tinjdad and Erfoud, you may stop to explore the amazing subterranean water tunnels deep beneath the soil. Which always keeps this source cold and avoids evaporation.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert exploration:
4 days excursion from Fes continues visiting the Merzouga desert by 4WD jeep. We will go to Khamlia village, which is well-known for its Gnawa musicians. We will be able to hear some traditional music and dancing from the Gnawa people thanks to their hospitality.
Make a short visit to the Berber Nomad family living in the Sahara desert. On this offroad trip, you will have several opportunities to experience the enchantment of desert landscapes and nomads. On our desert exploration day tour. Visit a magnificent oasis in the Berber communities in the Erg Chebbi dunes.
We drive back to Merzouga and we prepare for a desert camel ride. We will be led by an expert desert camel guide through Merzouga’s magnificent dunes and sand dunes. Time to enjoy the beautiful sunset with its multicolored sand dunes. We continue to the Merzouga desert camp. Supper at the camp. You will enjoy Berber music, and we will spend the night in the Merzouga Desert in a Berber desert tent.
Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Nkob – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate:
Early risers today will be able to see a beautiful dawn in the desert. After breakfast, we will begin our journey back to Ouarzazate via Rissani.
